PlayStation Classic Turns Into A Cool Portable Console

NIWA Channel, a Japanese hardware modder, has transformed the PlayStation Classic into a portable console that could be played on the go.

To transform the PlayStation Classic into the PlayStation Classic portable, NIWA Channel created a special case for the console, ripped out the guts of PlayStation Classic, and assembled everything, including components such as a battery and screen, in the casing.

Here’s a look at the finished product and the specs:

  • Internal battery (5100mAh)
  • LCD screen (3.5 inches)
  • Speaker (stereo, adjustable volume)
  • Power on/off switch and headphone jack could be found at the back of the console
  • microUSB port could be found on the front
