The Nintendo eShop listing for Pokemon Sword and Shield has reiterated what is and what isn’t supported for the Poke Ball Plus accessory.
In Pokemon Sword and Shield, you can transfer a Pokemon you have in-game into the Poke Ball Plus, similar to the transfer feature in Pokemon Let’s GO Pikachu/Eevee.
However, unlike Pokemon Let’s GO, you cannot use the Poke Ball Plus as a controller in Sword and Shield.
Thanks, Brandon.
