The Pokemon Company has announced a special video premier to celebrate the franchise crossing 1000 Pokemon as of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
The video is titled “1008 Encounters”, referencing the fact that there are a total of 1008 officially recognized Pokemon as of the latest games. It is set to premier on January 12th 2023 at 11pm JST or 9am ET. It is not known if this video is the same one planned to be showcased by Pokedoko in their upcoming episode.
