Pokemon Anime Voice Actor Kinryu Arimoto Has Passed Away

Japanese Pokemon anime voice actor Kinryu Arimoto has passed away at the age of 77 on February 1, 2019.

According to Japanese newspaper Daily Sports, Arimoto passed away from esophageal cancer. During his career, Arimoto voiced two Pokemon characters – Ford from the Orange Islands episode The Little Coil on the Prairie, as well as Denjirō from Gold and Silver episode The Poppo Man and his Carrier Poppo.
