Nintendo has published their latest earnings release for the fiscal year ending on March 31st 2022, which reveals that Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl have crossed a major sales threshold for the franchise.
According to Nintendo, Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl have crossed over 14.65 million units sold worldwide as of March 31st 2022. This means that they are now the best-selling Pokemon remakes in the entire franchise, dethroning the previous number 1 Pokemon Omega Ruby And Alpha Sapphire, which together have sold 14.50 million units in their lifetime. In addition, the Hoenn remakes were knocked down even further by Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu/Eevee, whose sales have reached 14.53 million units.

- Pokemon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl ~ 14.65 million
