Pokemon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl Shaymin Event Launches Later Today

During today’s Pokemon Presents, The Pokemon Company announced a new event for Pokemon Brilliant Diamond And Shining Pearl.

Later today, the key item Oak’s Letter will be distributed via Mystery Gift, which will allow players to legitimately catch the Mythical Pokemon Shaymin. To trigger this event, players have to follow these steps:

• Launch your Pokemon Brilliant Diamond or Shining Pearl game.
• Ensure that you have Mystery Gift Unlocked.
• Select Mystery Gift on the X menu.
• Select Get Via Internet

That said, players will only be able to access the event after they have beaten the champion and obtained the national dex. Once these conditions are met, they can go to Route 224 and talk to Professor Oak to start the event.
