Last year, The Pokemon Company announced Pokemon Center Kyoto is going to move to a bigger and better location on March 16 as part of their “renewal” process.
To celebrate this joyous event, The Pokemon Company has announced “Pokemon Center Kyoto Moving Renewal: Flower Petal Campaign” in Japan. Let’s take a look at what activities are in store:
The Legendary Pokemon Lugia will be present at the new Pokemon Center Kyoto Renewal. See how Lugia looks like above.
As with any other Pokemon Center opening, a pre-opening event will be held on March 14, 2019 from 2pm to 4pm, two days before the store. 100 lucky winners (who each can bring up to 3 people in their party) will be invited to the pre-opening event.
During the pre-opening event, attendees will be able to purchase exclusive Pokemon Center Kyoto Renewal merchandise before the rest of the world. For every 5000 yen spent at the store, customers will receive a Dancing Flower Petal Charm, and all customers who attend the pre-opening event will receive a Dancing Flower Petal Clear Card.

All Pokemon Center and Pokemon Store locations in Japan will celebrate the renewal of Pokemon Center Kyoto with new commemorative merchandise based on the artwork above. Of course, some of it will be exclusive to Pokemon Center Kyoto Renewal. Stay tuned for more details on the merchandise!
