The Pokemon Company International has put out a press release about the Pokemon Center London pop up store in the United Kingdom, which operated for a few weeks.
According to TPCi, the store attracted over 30,000 visitors. Thanks to the warm reception, a similar store offering official Pokemon Center merchandise will open at the site of the 2020 Pokemon World Championships, set to take place in London in Summer 2020.
Following the success of the recent Pokémon Center London pop up store at Westfield London that saw more than 30,000 visitors over its four-week opening, fans will have another opportunity to purchase a range of Pokémon merchandise thanks to a new store on the site for the duration of the 2020 Pokémon World Championships.
Taking place in London next summer at a venue yet to be announced, the Pokémon World Championships is the premier tournament for Pokémon video games and the Pokémon Trading Card Game.
