The Pokemon Company has announced the opening of a brand new Pokemon Center Osaka DX and Pokemon Cafe in Osaka, Japan.
This is the second Pokemon Center to open in Osaka city, and the second permanent Pokemon Cafe to open in Japan. Both Pokemon Center Osaka DX and Pokemon Cafe, which are integrated together, will open at Daimaru Shinsaibashi on September 20, 2019.
The Pokemon Company revealed that the first Pokemon Cafe in Tokyo has served over 240,000 customers since its opening 1 year and 3 months ago, so it is now the right time to open a second location in Japan.
Pokemon Center Osaka DX will be home to three Kanto Legendary Pokemon statues – Articuno (1.7m tall), Zapdos (1.6m tall), and Moltres (2.0m tall). Pokemon Center Osaka DX and Pokemon Cafe will have a total floor space of 763 square meters, or 231 tsubo.
