Pokemon Center Plastic Bags Will No Longer Be Free From July 1

The Pokemon Company has announced a very important announcement for all Pokemon Center and Pokemon Store locations in Japan.

From July 1, 2020, plastic bags will no longer be provided free of charge. All plastic bags, excluding size SS, will incur a small fee in light of “protecting the environment”. All prices in this article exclude 10% consumption tax.

Prices are as follows:

• Size SS: Free
• Size S: 5 yen
• Size M: 10 yen
• Size L: 15 yen
• Size LL: 15 yen

In addition, all Pokemon Center and Pokemon Store locations across Japan will release reusable shopping bags on July 1, 2020. Prices and sizes as follows:

Pokemon Reusable Bag S　220 yen

Pokemon Reusable Bag M　275 yen
（Shoulder type / Foldable type / Dark Blue /　43㎝×40㎝×10㎝）
