Pokemon GO Community Day July 2021’s Featured Pokemon Will Be Tepig

Niantic and The Pokemon Company have unveiled details for July 2021’s Pokemon GO Community Day.

The next Pokemon GO Community Day will run on 3 July 2021 (11am to 5pm, local time). This time, the featured Pokemon is Tepig, the Fire Pig Pokemon from the Unova region. If players evolve Pignite (the evolved form of Tepig) into Emboar during the event or up to two hours afterwards, that Emboar will learn the special move Blast Burn.

Bonus buffs during the event will include 3-hour incense, 3-hour lure modules, and 3 times Catch stardust. Additionally, a Special Research story titled “Roasted Berries” will also be available for $1 USD.

• Tepig will be appearing more frequently in the wild. If you’re lucky, you might encounter a Shiny one!
• Evolve Pignite (Tepig’s Evolution) during the event or up to two hours afterward to get an Emboar that knows the Charged Attack Blast Burn.
• Take a few snapshots during Community Day for a surprise!
• There’ll be a special one-time-purchase Community Day Box available for 1,280 PokéCoins, featuring 50 Ultra Balls, five Incense, five Star Pieces, and an Elite Charged TM.
• For US$1.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency), you’ll be able to access the Tepig Community Day-exclusive Special Research story, Roasted Berries.
• Stay tuned for when tickets for the Roasted Berries Special Research story go live! Tickets are nonrefundable (subject to applicable law and the exceptions set forth in the Terms of Service). Please note that this Special Research will not include an in-game medal.
