It’s been 1 year since Pokemon GO has launched, but there’s no sign of Legendary Pokemon yet up till today. While art assets of legendary Pokemon such as Mewtwo and Celebi exist in the depths of the app, they’ve never been able to be caught before.
This may all change soon, thanks to an advertisement found on the iOS Store. On the Indian iOS Store, a Pokemon GO ad which mentions “Special Pikachu with Hat and first legendary Pokemon” can be found on the menu.
This advertisement could be an early teaser of an actual Legendary Pokemon making its debut at the Pokemon GO Fest Chicago, which begins in less than 2 weeks. We’ll have to wait and see how this develops in the next couple of days.
If you could make a guess what the first legendary Pokemon would be, who would you pick? Let us know in the comments below!
