The Pokemon Company has released its sixth announcement in their weeklong series of special events celebrating Pokemon Day 2022, this time focused on Pokemon GO.
Starting from February 26th 9am to 9pm local time, Pokemon GO players will be able to purchase tickets to participate in Pokemon GO Tour Johto. As the name implies, this event will feature increased spawns for various Johto Pokemon, as well as any Kanto Region pre-evolutions of Johto Pokemon. Players will have to choose between Gold and Silver Versions for special spawns.
In addition, the event will feature its own set of Special Research tasks and Collection Challenges, which will give players a chance to capture Celebi on completion, as well as access to a Masterwork Research for Apex Shadow Lugia & Apex Shadow Ho-Oh. A free version of the paid event will also be available for all players, although some features will be locked behind payment.
The full details about the even can be found here.
This is the Pokemon Company’s sixth special announcement in the leadup to Pokemon Day, and will be followed up the Pokemon Presents showcase tomorrow. Stay tuned for more details as they come.
