Game Freak has announced more details for Pokemon Home and trading between owners of Pokemon Sword and Shield and owners of Pokemon Sword and Shield’s expansions.
First, Pokemon Home will be released on Nintendo Switch in February 2020. The app will be compatible with both Pokemon Sword and Shield, as well as the Pokemon Sword and Shield expansions.
Next, we have learned that trading works between owners of Pokemon Sword and Shield and the Pokemon Sword and Shield expansions, so Pokemon caught in the expansions could be traded to those who don’t own the expansions.
