GfK Japan has published the listing of bestselling toys in Japan for the first half of 2019.
According to GfK’s findings, the Pokemon brand was the No. 3 bestselling toy brand in Japan in the first half of 2019. Pokemon improved from No. 8 in the first half of 2018 to No. 3 in the first half of 2019, indicating that children and adults are buying more Pokemon toys this year.
Other than Pokemon, no other brands in the top 5 list saw their rankings change, with the exception of Kamen Rider that was kicked to fourth place.
