Pokemon Scarlet/Violet Get Mew & Mewtwo Tera Raid Event Officially Announced

Following several leaks, The Pokemon Company has officially announced the Mew & Mewtwo Tera Raid event for Pokemon Scarlet And Violet.

This Tera Raid event will give all players a chance to obtain their very own Mew, as well as a Mewtwo with the Mightiest Mark. To obtain the Mew, players simply have to enter the Mystery Gift code GETY0URMEW through the following steps. This Mew will have a random Tera Type. Note that the code will only be valid from now until September 18th 2023.

1. Launch your Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet game.
2. Unlock Mystery Gift by playing through the Main Story and reaching the first Pokemon Center.
3. Select Poke Portal on the X menu.
4. Select Mystery Gift.
5. Select Get via Internet to connect to the internet.
6. Watch as the gift arrives in your game. (Pokémon will appear in your party or your Pokémon Boxes.)
7. Be sure to save your game.

After obtaining the Mew, players will then be able to challenge a Mewtwo with the Mightiest Mark starting from September 1st till September 17th. Players who successfully complete the raid will be able to capture the Mewtwo for themselves, although they will only be able to do so once. In the interim until this event, several other special Tera Raid events will be run to help players prepare for it.
