Earlier this week, the extremely strong Typhoon Jebi passed through Japan’s Kansai region, causing massive damage to Osaka’s Kansai International Airport and blowing off the big N from Nintendo’s headquarters.
We’ve received a report from Apple Daily News on the conditions of the airport, which is home to two Pokemon Stores. Convenience stores were completely wiped out of food and drink, and it took 10 hours for visitors to leave the airport.
The original Pokemon Store in Kansai Airport, as shown below, was safe from the floods. The newly opened Pokemon Store, located at the same floor as the food court in Kansai Airport, was also closed just in time before the typhoon struck.
