The Pokemon Company and Square Enix have announced temporary closures for some of their stores due to an approaching Typhoon in the Kanto area of Japan.
The Pokemon Company will be closing two of its Pokemon Store outlets in anticipation of the Typhoon: Tokyo Station and Outlet Kisarazu. They will be closed on August 16th and will reopen on August 17th 2024, depending on weather the Typhoon has passed.
Next, Square Enix will be closing their Artnia Cafe in Shinjuku Eastside Square. It will be closed on August 17th 2024. Customers who have made reservations which must now be cancelled can contact the Artnia support center via this link to request a refund.
