Famitsu has published the video game sales charts for Japan for the period of November 25 to December 1, 2019.
Pokemon Sword and Shield were the No. 1 bestselling games in Japan last week. The games sold 275,959 copies, which helped to increase lifetime sales to 2.02 million copies at retail. Another major game that launched last week was SD Gundam Generations Cross Rays. The Switch version debuted No. 3 with 45,282 copies sold. It was beaten by the PS4 version which debuted No. 2 with 64,538 units moved.
Nintendo Switch hardware sales continue to move strongly. The original Nintendo Switch sold 111,621 consoles, while the Switch Lite moved 75,142 units last week.
