Pokemon Sword And Shield Sound Control Settings Reportedly Locked Behind Key Item

Today we have some strange news about the sound control settings in Pokemon Sword and Shield.

In most games, players could adjust the volume of the background music and sound effects from the beginning of the game. However it seems you need to obtain an item before doing that in Pokemon Sword and Shield.

Minor spoilers below:

In order to access the sound control settings, you need to obtain the key item called “Hi-tech Earbuds”

Once the item is obtained, you can adjust the volume for the background music, sound effects, and Pokemon cries:
