Pokemon Sword/Shield Art Director Also Shares Special Artwork To Celebrate Launch

Earlier today, Pokemon Sword/Shield director Shigeru Ohmori shared some special artwork to celebrate the games’ launch in Japan. With the two titles soon hitting store shelves worldwide as well, we now have another piece of celebratory artwork from the folks at Game Freak.

This time, the game’s art director James Turner also shared his own artwork along with a message to players. As you can see below, it features the three Galar starters with a Poke Ball, Sword, and Shield in hand! Let’s hope Grookey doesn’t accidentally hurt anyone with that blade, though…
