Viz Media has announced the release date for their English translation of Sword & Shield arc of the Pokemon Adventures manga series by Hidenori Kusaka and Satoshi Yamamoto.
Similar to previous arcs in the series, the Pokemon Sword & Shield manga follows on the main male and female trainers from the games ,named Henry and Casey in the English translation. Both of them serve as research assistants to Professor Magnolia, while also aiming to take on the Pokemon Gym Challenge.
The first English volume of Viz Media’s translation is scheduled to release on August 10th 2021, and will revolve around Henry and Casey trying to get Leon’s approval to take part in the Gym Challenge. Pre-orders for the volume are now live on Amazon, and can be found here.
