After the successful launch of Pokemon Sword & Shield, sales data released by GamesIndustry.biz has revealed that the game broke several of Nintendo’s sales records in the United Kingdom.

-Nintendo Switch sales increased 30% because of Pokemon Sword & Shield’s launch.
-90,000 Nintendo Switch units have been sold so far in the United Kingdom this month .
-Nintendo Switch is looking to beat the PS4 as the best selling console of the year in the United Kingdom.
-Pokemon Sword & Shield had the third biggest launch for Nintendo in the UK. Wii Fit had the second best and Pokemon Sun and Moon had the first best.
