Pokemon Sword/Shield’s Expansion Pass Areas Are Inspired By The Isle Of Man And Scotland
Last week, we learned that Pokemon Sword/Shield would be getting two new locations via paid expansion passes – namely: The Isle of Armor, and The Crown Tundra. If you’ve been wondering about their relation to real countries on Earth, we now have some official confirmation!
Earlier today, The Pokemon Company revealed that both locations are based on The Isle of Man and Scotland respectively! While they didn’t go into specific detail about these connections, one can definitely see the resemblance in their more temperate and freezing climates!
