Pokemon TCG Shortages Continue In Japan

Several weeks ago, the Pokemon Trading Card Game (TCG) encountered a massive shortage in Japan due to higher than expected demand.

While The Pokemon Company has been working on manufacturing more products to fulfill demand, they have issued a second apology for “causing trouble to customers” as the shortage has continued for weeks.

The GX Starter Kit, which ran out very quickly in Japan, will return to stores in mid September 2018. Upcoming expansion “Dark Order”, launching on October 5, will be produced in higher quantities in anticipation of the new level of demand.

Also releasing on November 2 is GX Ultra Shiny, which will be manufactured in higher quantities.
