The Pokemon Company has revealed new details about its annual Pokémon Trading Card Game Illustration Contest for 2022.
For the first time, the contest will be open to both Japanese and US submissions. Entries must be submitted between October 13th 2021 and January 31st 2022, and follow this year’s theme of “Pokemon Daily Life” featuring Bulbasaur, Charizard, Pikachu, Arcanine, Galarian Rapidash, Scizor, Greninja or Cramorant. Both the Grand Prize winner and first runner-up will have their artwork featured on a Pokemon promo card, and receive a cash prize.
