The developers of Pokemon Unite have released a letter from Producer Masaaki Hoshino detailing some exciting new developments coming to the game.
Firstly, Pokemon Unite will be featured as part of the 2022 Pokemon World Championships. From this year on, teams will be able to participate in a competitive season to qualify for the Championships, which will happen in August.
To tie in with the Championships, Pokemon Unite will also receive a new “Tournament Mode” which will “even the playing field for competitors regardless of held items”, a release date for this mode was not announced.
In addition, Hoshino also confirmed that Pokemon Unite will be updated to support additional languages, including the following: ” Bahasa Indonesia, Brazilian Portuguese, Hindi, Russian, Thai, and Turkish”.
