Today, April 29, 2020, marks the day of the official release of the Pokemon X GU apparel line at GU locations across Japan.

The new products have received a warm reception from the Japanese public. Most of the products offered on GU’s official website have sold out, excluding apparel for men and kids:

And even more amazingly. thousands of Pokemon fans were lining up for these products outside GU stores across Japan, despite the ongoing state of emergency and coronavirus outbreak:
