Pokemon X Oreo Collaboration Seemingly Teased For September

The official Oreo cookies Twitter account has posted a teaser for an upcoming collaboration in September.

Although not explicitly stated, the teaser strongly suggests that the collaboration is with Pokemon. Not only does the teaser video use lightning bolt effects reminiscent of franchise mascot Pikachu, the tweet itself also mentions “Trainers” and uses emojis representing the starter elements of grass, fire and water.

From these hints, the most obvious conclusion is Oreo will be releasing Pokemon themed cookies in September, although this has of course yet to be officially confirmed. We will be sure to report back with more details as they come.
