The Pokemon Company and Niantic have activated the beta version of the PokeStop Nomination feature for 15 countries in Pokemon GO today.
The countries are mostly based in South America. Here’s the list of countries:
El Salvador Guatemala Nicaragua Costa Rica Panama Honduras Belize
Ecuador Bolivia Colombia Uruguay Paraguay Suriname Venezuela (Bolivarian Republic) Guyana
Level 40 trainers living in the countries listed above can now nominate various locations in the real world to become PokeStops. We expect the feature to be opened up to other trainers in these countries in the next few days.
