Quake II Switch Physical Editions Announced, Pre-Orders Start August 11

Quake II fans will finally get to own the timeless classic physically on Nintendo Switch!

Limited Run Games recently revealed that they will be publishing physical editions for the enhanced version of Quake II that was recently released on modern consoles. Open pre-orders for standard copies of the title (pictured above) will commence on 11 August 2023 (10 am ET) for $34.99 USD.

Along with this, the publisher also revealed a $84.99 USD Special Edition for the game (seen below) – which will contain extras like a Quake II SteelBook, Reversible 18″x24″ Poster, Briefing Document, and Dog Tags.


Additionally, Limited Run Games will also be publishing a massive $149.99 Ultimate Strogg Edition (seen below) that contains even more extras such as a Mini Metal Adrianator Ship, Military Service Challenge Coin, and Combat Service Patch – all stored in a massive Strogg Collector’s Box.
