Random: Fans Mod Original Celeste To Star Kirby, Rename It “Ingeste”

If you love Celeste and Kirby, you’ll probably get a kick out of this interesting fan-made crossover.

For those who are unaware, the version of Celeste we all know and love first got its start on PC in 2015. This older, original iteration was also known as Celeste, but was much smaller in scale and could be beaten in about 30 minutes. Despite that, this version of the game still has plenty of fans, fans dedicated enough to mod it to star another beloved gaming icon: Kirby.

Dubbed “Ingeste“, this new take on Celeste switches out the game’s protagonist Madeline for Kirby. Instead of running and jumping, players can fly up the mountain as everyone’s favorite pink puffball, collecting Maxim Tomatoes along the way. Naturally, Ingeste is a lot easier than the game it is based on, but its still a lot of fun to play through.

You can play “Ingeste” through Itch.io here.
