As many are probably aware by now, Sony Entertainment’s critically-panned Morbius film has become somewhat of an ironic meme – failing to reach the financial success of other superhero flicks and generally being derided by moviegoers. Well, some folks aren’t tired of razzing the movie just yet, and one individual has now gone the extra mile to make the Morbius experience an even more unpleasant (albeit portable) one.
This plucky person is none other than Bob Wulff (or WULFF DEN on YouTube), who recently shared a video about his attempt to convert the entire Morbius movie to playback on the Game Boy Color. Needless to say, it’s not exactly a straightforward process – and you can check out the obstacles that he faced below:
As you can see, the results are pretty chunky – resulting in an extremely compressed film that eats up cartridge space in no time. While Wulff evidently did not see the value in converting the entire Morbius movie into 36 Game Boy Color cartridges at this time, maybe some other brave soul will pull it off in the future.
