Ever wondered what it would look like to shoot up the Mushroom Kingdom in first-person? Well, now you can sate your curiosity.

Recently, game developer Sean Noonan revealed a new project of his for a Mapcore community content. In particular, he chose to create a first-person shooter map themed around world 1-1 of the original Super Mario Bros., and the results of his handiwork are pretty impressive! Check it out below.

While it would be interesting to see him create more levels, Nintendo probably wouldn’t condone such a fan project going public. In any case, this is still a fun glimpse at what a FPS spin-off for the series could look like!
