Another interesting piece of Nintendo history has re-appeared online.
The rare item is none other than one of the original prototypes for the Nintendo GameCube, which was worked on under the codename “Dolphin”. Previously, there was little physical documentation of the prototype available to the public, save for a very blurry photograph.
Recently, ConsoleVariations shared a new, clearer picture of one of the prototypes on social media, still labelled “Nintendo Dolphin” with a different logo. At the time of this writing, ConsoleVariations has not elaborated on where and how they got access to the device, only that more photos will be shared soon.
