Rare’s Cancelled N64 Project Dinosaur Planet Has Reportedly Been Leaked Online

After years of being shrouded in obscurity and mystery, one of Rare’s most elusive lost projects has finally emerged online!

Following the leak of an unreleased Goldeneye 007 remake earlier this year, Rare’s other cancelled game Dinosaur Planet has apparently been leaked online by the video game preservationists at Forest of Illusion. The game was originally slated as a standalone adventure for the Nintendo 64, before it was eventually reworked into Star Fox Adventures on the GameCube.

Here’s some footage of the leaked build in action below:

It’s certainly quite remarkable to see this prototype of the game emerge around two decades after it disappeared from the public eye! For Star Fox fans, this will also be a fun look into what eventually became the dark horse of the Star Fox franchise.
