As we’ve reported previously, this weekend marked the 5th anniversary since the unfortunate passing of Satoru Iwata. While gaming fans worldwide reminisced on the late Nintendo president’s contributions, another familiar friend of Iwata has now shared his feelings on this occasion as well.

Recently, Ex-President for Nintendo of America Reggie Fils-Aime also chimed in with a brief but heartfelt message about Iwata’s passing. The two had worked closely together while they were still the respective heads of Nintendo in their regions – and it shows:

Satoru Iwata may no longer be with us, but it’s clear that his work still reverberates throughout the world of Nintendo and gaming to this day. The same certainly seems to be true for his many co-workers and colleagues.
