Still haven’t given the latest Monster Hunter Rise free demo a spin? Well, your chance to do so will end soon!
As of the time of writing, there are less than 24 hours to download the demo from the Switch eShop (i.e. on 1 February 2021, 3 am EST). After this point, you will no longer be able to obtain the demo – and online play with other demo owners will become unavailable (although you should still be able to play with them by using a local wireless connection).
As reported previously, the demo allows players to tackle two training missions and two proper hunts. The “beginner” hunt will let players take down the Great Izuchi, while the “intermediate” hunt has players tackle the more-challenging Mizutsune. Those who have demo save data on their Nintendo Switch will also receive extra helpful items (i.e. 10 Energy Drinks, 5 Mega Armorskins, 5 Mega Demondrugs, 20 Mega Potions, and 5 Pitfall Traps) in the full game!
