The results for the third Pokémon Trading Card Game Illustration Contest have just been released!
The theme for this year was ‘Pokémon Daily Life’, and artwork could only feature Bulbasaur, Charizard, Pikachu, Arcanine, Galarian Rapidash, Scizor, Greninja or Cramorant.
Out of over 10,000 entries in the contest, the Grand Prize went to Rend’s artwork featuring Arcanine, which will be featured on an official Pokemon promo card. Rend also walks away with a cash prize of $5000 USD.
In addition, Taiga Kasai’s artwork of Greninja and Julie Hang’s artwork of Bulbasaur clinched the first runner-up positions for Japan and the United States respectively. Both illustrations will also be featured on their own individual promo cards as well, with both illustrators each walking away with a cash prize of $3000 USD.
