Team Meat co-founder and Super Meat Boy Forever designer and programmer Tommy Refenes shared a few tidbits about the post-launch plans they have for the game.
During a PAX East 2019 interview with Dualshockers, Refenes revealed that the team has plans for a post-launch content for Super Meat Boy Forever. It was revealed that this post-launch DLC will include substantial new additions for the game.
First, one thing to look forward to is that the this content would make the game even more challenging as it aims to make Super Meat Boy Forever’s levels ridiculously hard.
Up next, Refenes has confirmed that user-created levels will also be returning, a system similar to Super Meat World level editor added to Super Meat Boy post-launch.
As previously reported, Nicalis announced that Super Meat Boy Forever will launch April 2019 on Nintendo Switch. The Switch version runs at 60 frames per second and 1080p in TV Mode (720p in Handheld Mode).
