A new rumor about popular sandbox survival game Fortnite for Nintendo Switch has surfaced today. The rumor comes from a Twitter user called LeakyPandy, the same person who correctly predicted the date of last month’s Nintendo Direct.
According to LeakyPandy, sources have informed him that Fornite might appear during Nintendo’s E3 showcase in June as part of its first reveal. Next, LeakyPandy claims Fornite’s two modes, Save the World and Battle Royale, would “release one after the other” and not at the same time.
Fornite’s Battle Royale will not have any significant differences from other platforms on Nintendo Switch, and it will feature online cross-platform play with other systems. Save the World, on the other hand, will feature local co-op play and “exclusive Nintendo IP” content.
Keep in mind that at this is a rumor, it’s best to take it with a pinch of salt.
