In the absence of official information, fans have been heavily speculating on the starter Pokemon for Pokemon Legends Z-A, with many curious if it will continue the trend of using an assortment of past starter Pokemon like Pokemon Legends Arceus.
Amidst the discussion, the infamous Game Freak hacker has returned with a small hint about what to expect. The hacker suggests that Pokemon Legends Z-A is very likely to go the route of using a random set of old starter Pokemon, as opposed to “reusing a past game starter set”.
The latter comment is presumably referring to the popular theory that Pokemon Legends Z-A will use all three Pokemon X And Y starter Pokemon. This theory was derived from promotional artwork for Pokemon Worlds 2025 leaked during the original Game Freak hack, which prominently featured Chespin, Fennekin, and Froakie. At the time many fans believed that they were chosen to promote the latest Pokemon titles, and must therefore be the main starter trio featured in Pokemon Legends Z-A.
As with all rumors of this nature, we caution readers to take them with a grain of salt. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
