Rumor: Legend Of Zelda Ocarina Of Time Remake Speculated To Launch November 2026

The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time Remake recently received its ESRB rating, and fans have been speculating on when the game will release this year.

A Reddit post that has been making the rounds online claims to have cracked the code based on, of all things, amiibo release dates. The post theorizes that Nintendo tends to release new games and new amiibo around the same time, with the pattern holding for the following amiibo and game pairs:

  • Mineru’s Construct Amiibo and Fire Emblem: Fortunes’s Weave (September 17th)
  • Meta Knight and Shadow Star amiibo and Pokemon Pokopia (March 5th)
  • Dedede and Tank Star amiibo and Rhythm Heaven Groove (July 2nd)

The post goes on to state that since the Sword Kirby and Dragoon amiibo as well as the Noir Dedede and Hydra amiibo are releasing on November 11th 2026, it strongly implies that a new game will release on that date alongside these amiibo. The poster believes The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake is the most likely candidate worthy of such a coveted holiday slot, although its also possible that it could be some other yet to be announced title.

As with all speculation of this nature, we caution readers to take this with a grain of salt. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
