Last week, The Pokemon Company released Pokemon Scarlet And Violet, which many fans were dismayed to find was riddled with performance issues and bugs.
According to reports on social media, it seems Nintendo is aware of the backlash the games have been receiving, and may be offering refunds to fans who ask for them.
More specifically, many players who have contacted Nintendo’s customer support directly with their complaints have managed to get refunds nearly immediately. However, there are also reports of players who were told to wait “a few days” to hear back, meaning that whether or not the refund will be approved depends on the representative on the other end.
That said, Nintendo themselves have yet to confirm officially whether they are accepting refunds for the game, which some might say is unprecedented given that the company can be fickle about accepting refunds.
Nevertheless, players who are displeased with the state of Scarlet And Violet may want to consider putting a refund request in to Nintendo, if only to make their criticism of the game’s launch state heard.
