Octopath Traveler, one of the Switch’s big exclusive games, might not be an exclusive for much longer.
Game Rating and Administration Committee of Korea has recently published a new PC rating for Octopath Traveler. The publisher of the port has been listed as Bandai Namco, who often publishes Square Enix titles in Korea.
Originally released in July last year, Octopath Traveler has quickly become one of Square Enix’s breakout franchises. It was extremely well-received upon release, and now has a mobile prequel and a potential console sequel in the works. Given its success, it probably comes as no surprise that Square-Enix is looking to expand its audience beyond the Switch, and has decided to put an end to its status as a Switch exclusive.
