Octopath Traveler II Crossess 1 Million Units Sold

Square Enix has announced that Octopath Traveler II has crossed a major sales milestone.

As of June 7th 2023, the sequel to Octopath Traveler has crossed 1 million units sold worldwide across all platforms, achieving this figure a few months after its release in February 2023. To celebrate, Square Enix has released a special illustration based on one of the travel banter scenes from the game:

For comparison, the original Switch exclusive Octopath Traveler managed to cross 1 million less than a month after its release, although it had the benefit of being the first of Square Enix’s HD-2D games.
