We have a piece of shocking news to share with those of you looking forward to Persona 5 on Nintendo Switch.
A few weeks ago, MysticDistance, an authority figure on Persona and Kingdom Hearts, revealed that sources told them Persona 5 was in the works for Nintendo Switch. Today, after monitoring the P5R.jp domain name, MysticDistance discovered Atlus has configured the domain to prepare for the game’s official announcement.
Before today, accessing P5R.jp would serve a 403 error. Now, a 404 error (page not found) is served instead. In other words, preparations for the game’s announcement are underway.
MysticDistance has also mentioned to followers on Twitter that Persona 5 would be officially announced today for Nintendo Switch right after the Dark Sun OVA announcement, and they have presented proof of this to moderators on the ResetERA forum. The game will most likely be called “Persona 5 Reloaded” due to the “R” in the domain name.
