Some new rumors have begun circulating about the next major mainline Pokemon game after Pokemon Legends Z-A.
This rumor comes from CentroLeaks, which collects seemingly credible Pokemon rumors from around the internet. CentroLeaks claims that Pokemon “Gen 10”, codenamed “Gaia”, will be set in a region inspired by the Cyclades, a group of islands off the coast of Greece. CentroLeaks also claims that the game will release next year exclusively for the Switch 2, contradicting previous claims from the infamous Game Freak hacker that the Gen 10 games were being worked on for both Switch 1 and Switch 2.

It’s true, we can confirm that Pokémon Gen 10, codenamed Gaia, will take place in the Cyclades!
The game is planned for release next year exclusively for Switch 2 🛴
Rumors that the Gen 10 Pokemon game would take place in a Greek-inspired region first surfaced last year, sourced from the infamous Game Freak hack that leaked details about a number of past and future Pokemon titles. It is not clear whether CentroLeaks is citing additional info from this leak, or from other sources.
That said, we caution readers to take claims of this nature with a grain of salt. Stay tuned for more as it comes.
