Earlier this year, The Pokemon Company announced Pokemon Legends Z-A, the latest mainline Pokemon game planned for release sometime in 2025.
In the absence of official information, some new rumors have surfaced about when fans can expect the new game to release. This rumor comes via Riddler Khu, a prolific Pokemon leaker who famously leaked the content related to Pokemon Legends Arceus and Pokemon Scarlet And Violet months before they were officially released.
According to the leaker, Pokemon Legends Z-A “will not be out too early next year”, and will still be the main focus of the Pokemon Day Presents showcase for 2025. Furthermore, the leaker also claims that the next Generation of Pokemon will only be released in 2026, coinciding with the franchise’s 30th anniversary.
While this info might be somewhat disappointing to fans, others might take reassurance that The Pokemon Company intends to take a bit more time to work on the games, particularly after the notoriously buggy launch of Pokemon Scarlet And Violet. As with all rumors of this nature however, we caution readers to take them with a grain of salt. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
