The upcoming Pokemon RPG for Nintendo Switch has currently been dated for a “2018 or later” release. But when exactly will it hit stores?
A job listing by The Pokemon Company International says it’s hiring localization editors on a 6 month contractual basis. Localization Editors are in charge of localizing “all editorial facets” of video games and other related materials such as video game strategy guides and websites.
And here’s the biggest part – the role is anticipated to commence between April and June 2018. For reference, translation work started for Pokemon Sun and Moon in early January, so editing work taking place from April to June makes sense.
There is a pretty high chance localization for the Pokemon Switch game is underway right now, and it could be delivered before the end of 2018, rather than 2019.
